UNCLE’s Gonna Work It Out! Which UNCLE are we FUNdraising for at the Cunning Stunts Sold Out March 4th Nudge Nudge Wink Wink event? Byron Bay’s UNCLE Project. The UNCLE project is a mentoring program for boys age 6-12, particularly those without active fathers, who could benefit from a more supportive environment of positive male role models, to enhance their social, creative and physical skills. Founded in 1997, UNCLE Byron Bay is solely funded by the local community and business sponsors in their work with families (particularly single parent families), who are experiencing distress due to the emotional and developmental needs of their sons. Their provision of a quality mentoring service inclusive of emotional support and gender appropriate guidance offered by positive adult male role models within the community assists boys towards balanced and integrated personal development and social responsibility.
March’s DJ line up will have you dancing and shed sizzling from start to finish: Returning for his 2nd Nudge, DJ Nick Field is back from Bali with over 25 years of global DJ experience, Nick is a legend on the decks who has his own sound influenced by his loves of disco, electro and house. Beloved Nudger, Coco Republic co-founder, and Byron Bay based DJ Al Royale will be delivering one of his trademark sets. Originally from the UK, Al learned his trade in the thriving UK Deep House scene of Nottingham of the 90’s home of DiY and played with party crew Giddy Fruit. Last but not least, Cunning Stunts resident DJs Lord Sut & Dale Stephen will kick off our day with not to be missed sets! All DJs donae their time and play their incredible tunes to support our local community and raise awareness at this party with a conscience.
Having donated a record breaking $12,500 from their February 2018 event and now raising over $120,000!!! thus far for local charities across 23 events, Cunning Stunts Nudge Nudge Wink Wink FUNdraising events continue to raise the bar.
Nudge Nudge Wink Wink is a TICKETED monthly event running from September – June that brings the community together in an all-inclusive way, whilst raising much needed funding for beloved and deserving local charities that help improve the lives of Northern NSW residents. Food, entertainment, an outside bar and amazing raffle prizes all contribute to this special event the first Sunday of the month has become.
Fundraising at their events is raised through ticket sales, vendor and attendees’ donations, sponsors, merchandise sales and the selling of raffle tickets. 100% of profits donated to local well deserving charities.
